System Pros, Inc. has a 6 month openings for an Intergration BA with knowledge of  Vantage-One® , DSS, or RPS.

Primary Job Duties:

Responsible for all artifacts and tasks produced in the Requirements discipline of the Rational Unified Process (RUP).

Meet with TCM business units, and business partners to understand key problem to be solved or opportunity to be realized.
 Facilitate requirements workshops.
 Identify impacted Stakeholders of the project.
 Document “as is” and “to be” business processes.
 Capture, Prioritize, Quantify and Articulate the stakeholder needs.

Translate stakeholder needs into system requirements.
 Knowledge of the technology domains within TCM/AEGON, or the ability to quickly absorb and understand such information.
 Create Use Case Models, Activity Diagrams, and Supplementary Specifications.
 Mockup and document user interfaces such as screens, reports, letters, extracts.
 Identify SOA Integration/Services requirements.
 Translate business data to ACORD compliant data model
 Manage requirements within ReqPro throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Collaborate with project team to deliver the solution:
 Present system requirements to Architects and Development Leads.
 Lead or Participate in JAD sessions.
 Ensure that design addresses business problem to be solved and is within project ROI.
 Help identify project risks.
 Contribute to and review Project Plans, Test Plans, Design documents, UAT plans.
 

Job requirements:

• Ability to create UML diagrams: Use Case, Activity, Sequence, Class
• Ability to work with XML files
• Knowledge of ACORD object model and TXLife transactions
• SQL and data analysis.
• Understand basic principles for the following SW topics:
   SOA
   MVC
   OOAD
   MDA
• Require a minimum of 4-year degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience.

Project Manager - Vantage-One®

System Pros, Inc. currently has 2 contract to hire positions for Project Managers with experience using Vantage-One® systems.  One with areas of expertise centered around Conversions and one around Print Systems/Services

Primary Job Duties:

Manage the implementation of annuity products and/or software releases.

System Pros, Inc. has openings for  consultants using Vantage-One® and CyberLife  systems.

Primary Job Duties:

The Vantage One or CyberLife Programmers function as mid-level technicians on complex work requests. As members of project teams, these individuals are responsible for the design and enhancement of new/existing life insurance policy administration systems, primarily utilizing either the Vantage One or CyberLife systems. This includes the design, coding and testing of new programs, and the modification and testing of existing programs in Cobol, JCL and other relevant mainframe utilities. The Programmers will participate in the implementation and selection of new application software packages and will resolve system issues. These positions require mainframe programming skills plus comprehensive knowledge of life insurance policy administration systems, such as Vantage One, CyberLife, LifeComm, Life 70, or CFO.

Job requirements:

• 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience, 3-5 years with IT preferred.
• Experience with Vantage-One® or CyberLife administration system.
• Understanding and experience with automated test tools, software development and testing methodologies
• Highly developed problem solving, communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Team oriented, able to lead in a matrix management structure under aggressive timelines.
